DESCRIPTION filled artificial grass with quartz sand
The synthetic turf was created by the need to reduce the maintenance cost of clay courts. It has therefore less operating and maintenance costs and has many more hours of use than the clay court. Easily installed on any flat surface.
USES Ideal for tennis courts, and recreation configurations.
APPEARANCE A smooth seamless appearance with short grass.
MATERIAL PILE Polyethylene, resistant to UV radiation and temperature fluctuations and high resistance to hard use.
BASE MATERIAL Black Latex double layer polyester resistant to UV radiation and moisture.
PILE HEIGHT 10-20 mm (above ground).
KNOTS 22.000-60.000 / m2.
COLORS Green or (upon request) red ..
LINES synthetic turf same texture white 5 cm thick in colors, yellow or white.
SAND quartz sand, spherical, dried by heating according to DIN 18035 T7. Particle size 0,2-0,4 mm. Filling quantity depending on density and height.
Choosing the right subbsae depends on local conditions of work (carrying capacity of natural soil, etc.).
The installation of synthetic turf is made with great care rolls are measured and cut on site. The focal points of successive pieces are unfolded and glued with polyurethane glue on a special geotextile that is placed underneath.
The appropriate slant of the area, assisted by a system of holes into the bottom of the mat ensures direct runoff of rain so the stadium can be used either during or immediately after rain.
Because of the special sand which the synthetic turf is filled the court doesn’t get muddy after rain. Temperature changes do not affect it. In contrast to the soil (clay) maintenance is not needed (80-90% less operating and maintenance costs) and therefore the court can be used continuously.
The color of the synthetic turf is natural grass green and unaffected by ultraviolet rays.
